Security

A checksum proves the file has not changed. A platform signature proves who published it. Valkenberg releases require both.

    Download only from the immutable link shown on this site or the official GitHub release.

  2. 02

    Check the operating-system publisher signature and timestamp.

  3. 03

    Calculate SHA-256 locally and compare every character with the published value.

Application boundary

How the local application is isolated

  • EV listens only on your computer, never on your LAN or the public internet.
  • The website cannot reach, control or administer a running EV installation.
  • Credentials are protected per installation and are never built into the installer.
  • EV is read-only decision support. It does not place, change or cancel EVE orders.

Report privately

Found a security problem?

Do not post credentials, character data or a working exploit in a public issue. Use the repository’s private security-advisory channel. A monitored domain contact will be published before the first external release.

Open a private security advisory

Include the EV version, operating system, affected feature, reproduction steps and likely impact. Remove tokens, keys, cookies and private EVE data.
