What EVT actually does.

Every workspace below is in the current Windows test build. Start with public market research; connect characters only if you want personal portfolio, fee and profit evidence.

Discover and learn

Get oriented, build a shortlist and put a price on what you have found.

EVT PAGE

Tutorial

Learn trading from first order to audited outcome.

  • Sixteen linked lessons progress from market basics to station trades, hauling, contracts, industry, planets and economic data.
  • Each lesson explains a concept, shows the matching EVT workflow, then offers a worked example and practice task.

EVT PAGE

Valkenberg Picks

Turn broad market results into a personal shortlist.

  • Ranks up to ten candidates against available capital, minimum net profit and ROI, sale-time target, risk tolerance and hauling preference.
  • Uses retained market evidence and connected wallet, order and asset context where available; the full tables remain available for inspection.

EVT PAGE

News

Keep official EVE developments in view.

  • Reads a locally retained feed of EVE news and Market Discussions, newest first, with search and a refresh on page visit.
  • Open the original article to check patch or economic context before acting on a market move.

EVT PAGE

Appraisal

Value a pasted list before buying, selling or hauling it.

  • Paste item names or IDs with quantities; unresolved lines remain visible instead of silently changing the total.
  • Compare immediate sale into current bids with a patient, fee-adjusted asking-price estimate at the selected market.

Market research

Inspect the book, compare venues and test whether the route still makes sense after costs.

EVT PAGE

Market Browser

Four focused ways to inspect public market data.

  • Browse a Region: search and filter retained regional order books by item, price, spread, estimated return and liquidity.
  • Market Comparison: compare item listings across regions or major hubs instead of reading one venue at a time.
  • Station Trading: scan one station for buy-to-sell-order candidates. Set capital, fees and opportunity filters; choose Conservative, Balanced or Risky presets and item subcategories.
  • Station results show best orders, estimated per-unit and total profit, ROI, volume, suggested units, investment and modelled risks. No order is placed for you.

EVT PAGE

Chart View

Check an item’s history before trusting today’s spread.

  • Search for an item and region; review daily price and volume history alongside the retained current order book.
  • Use moving averages, Donchian channels, trade-quality checks and deterministic signals; show your own trade markers when character data exists.

EVT PAGE

Hub Trades

Compare the five major trade hubs as source and destination.

  • Screen directed routes between Jita, Amarr, Dodixie, Hek and Rens for instant-bid or patient sell-order exits.
  • Factor in fees, book depth, cargo volume, high-sec jumps, ISK per cubic metre, profit per jump and estimated turnover.
  • Review allocation and route warnings; apparent spreads are not treated as guaranteed fills.

EVT PAGE

Contract Scanner

Assess public item-exchange contracts with executable-market context.

  • Filter public contracts by region and cargo constraints, then inspect item contents and asking price.
  • Compare depth-walked immediate liquidation with a patient-sale estimate after fees, and account for available cash, inventory overlap and hauling trips.
  • A separate MutaMarket view can value mutaplasmid items as an estimate, clearly apart from executable bids.

Economy and planning

Move from a single item to regional trends, production inputs and planetary chains.

EVT PAGE

Monthly Reports

Explore retained CCP Monthly Economic Report data.

  • Overview charts item-category price indices and regional measures over their available comparable history; select multiple coloured regions.
  • Table View compares five regional economy measures for a chosen month with year-on-year context and a heat-map view.
  • Compare Regions rebases up to eight series to a common starting point; Statistics includes rolling means, change distributions, correlation and an exploratory trend test.
  • Exact monthly values and provenance stay available. Missing months and the shorter regional-history window are not fabricated.

EVT PAGE

Data Hub

Interrogate relationships, not just plot lines.

  • Compare monthly percentage changes between two regional series, or a regional series and already-cached item market history.
  • Use a regional heat map and Pearson correlation with aligned-month and gap checks.
  • Place curated major-patch markers on charts and compare three full months before and after; the page does not claim causation.

EVT PAGE

Industry

Decide what may be worth building with retained evidence.

  • Screen blueprint opportunities by material coverage, input cost, estimated job cost, expected net, ROI, cash return and profit per slot-day.
  • Plan runs with blueprint ME/TE and owned materials; combine selected builds into one shopping list without double-counting stock.
  • View synced jobs and blueprints. Facility, skill and market assumptions remain explicit; EVT does not start industry jobs.

EVT PAGE

Planets

Plan planetary material chains without pretending to control a colony.

  • Search P1–P4 products and expand batch-rounded recipes, import tiers, required inputs, surplus and stock-aware shopping lists.
  • Compare system and planet resource potential, filter synced colonies, and save local plans with manual economic assumptions.
  • Factory-capacity estimates are lower bounds, not a colony-layout or extraction-yield simulator; no colony is edited in EVE.

Portfolio, profit and control

Connect the characters, see what you own and audit what a completed trade earned.

EVT PAGE

Characters

Bring several EVE characters into one local view.

  • Connect multiple characters through CCP SSO and inspect each sync status.
  • Choose the character used for personal fee context; disconnect a character when needed.

EVT PAGE

My Assets

Inspect today’s portfolio and the evidence behind each sale.

  • Compare wallet, priced inventory, current buy/sell orders and tracked totals by character, then drill into item positions.
  • Position Master supports filtering, sorting and column-width changes; wallet journal history and order attention are nearby.
  • Trading Profit Ledger keeps each sale separate with bought-for cost, estimated or linked fees, proceeds, net profit and ISK per holding hour.
  • Review cross-character transfers to improve cost matching. Missing acquisition evidence remains Unknown.

EVT PAGE

Profit Tracker

Separate realised trading performance from cash and open inventory.

  • Filter by character and period, including custom dates; chart realised profit without counting unsold listings as revenue.
  • Item Performance aggregates evidenced sales; Profit Ledger shows sale-level cost provenance, fees, holding time and net outcome.
  • Reconciliation isolates unresolved sales and links to explicit source review rather than assigning today’s market price as historical cost.

EVT PAGE

Settings

Control the local workspace and optional assistant.

  • Manage local preferences, character data and credential-disconnection controls.
  • Configure Ask Valkenberg if wanted. The assistant can explain evidence and change supported page filters or chart parameters; it cannot submit EVE orders.

Ask Valkenberg

An optional assistant appears across the terminal. Ask about the page and its visible evidence, or have it set supported filters, chart choices and scan parameters. It needs a provider you configure; it does not place orders, fill gaps in missing cost history or replace your judgment.
